Recently, the complete set of equipment for treating mine gas and exhaust gas in the mines, which was designed and manufactured by our company for a certain mining group, has begun to be delivered.
Coal mine gas (also known as coal seam gas) refers to unconventional natural gas (mainly composed of methane) stored in coal seams. Gas with a concentration lower than 30% is generally called low-concentration gas. Low-concentration gas is divided into two parts: wind-exhaust gas (also known as "waste gas") and extraction gas. Due to the low concentration of the gas, wind-exhaust gas is difficult to be directly utilized. Directly discharging it into the atmosphere will not only cause huge energy waste but also generate greenhouse effects. Therefore, it is necessary to process it.
In existing technologies, oxidation devices are often used to treat wind-exhaust gas and extraction gas to some extent. During the oxidation treatment, the concentration of the gas has a significant impact on the effect of the oxidation treatment. The efficiency of the treatment is low and the heat waste is serious. Therefore, developing a new type of processing technology and equipment for low-concentration gas has become an urgent problem to be solved at present. 

 


The concentration of the extracted gas in this project is less than 8%, and the lowest concentration is only 2-3%. In view of this situation, our company, leveraging its rich experience and practical examples in the treatment of low calorific value waste gas, has tailored a complete set of waste gas treatment plans and processes for this project. Different from the traditional oxidation method, this plan achieves a new combustion organization and control by optimizing the configuration of auxiliary equipment. Through the optimal combination of combustion space, furnace structure, heat exchange area, etc., after thorough论证and combined with the data analysis and simulation of existing actual case models, the feasibility and reliability of the new process have been realized.
